The Zámečník z Dolní Dunajovice Winery, which falls into the Mikulovská sub-region, will have its premiere here. The history of the winery dates back to the end of the Second World War, when Mr. Jiří Zámečník's grandparents came to Mikulov. Like most of the locals, they also had their own small vineyard on the slopes of Svátý kopeček. In 1989, he moved with his parents to Dolní Dunajovice and a new era of winemaking began. The location, microclimate and soil conditions predetermine the focus of production on white wines. Part of the production consists of rosé wines and the rest of red wines. VLAŠSKÝ RYZLINK is a typical variety for the local landscape, achieving extraordinary qualities. The winery receives awards in foreign and domestic competitions.
