Gamification as a method for better decision-making, development and advancement
Gamification is an unconventional but very effective approach to motivation and achieving goals.
During this workshop, participants will learn how they can use the principles of gamification at work, when changing habits or personal development.
They will see it as a practical tool for maintaining direction, motivation and progress in their goals.
They will receive several inspiring examples and experience one gamification technique in practice:
they will create their own Tree of Options, which will help them map priorities, decisions and better manage where they are currently directing their energy and time.
Participants will take away:
a practical tool for clarifying the direction, priorities and allocation of time and energy,
simple gamification principles for everyday functioning,
a new way to look at one's own development, playfully, but at the same time practically and purposefully.
WHY PARTICIPATE?
You will learn what Gamification is and short examples of its use from different areas (business, work, marketing, education, social issues).
Martin will explain how he uses gamification when working with clients and how his gamification method works on an anonymous client example.
He will present a simple tip for gamification – using Levels to increase motivation and better follow-up progression
Finally, a practical test of one technique – the Skill tree – everyone will need a pen and paper.
Explanation of the concept of the Skill Tree (what it is, what it can be used for, why it is useful). The possibility of choosing whether it will be about the development of skills or about the second main use - the allocation of time and energy between different areas or activities.
