About event

We cordially invite a concert of an excellent duo, associated with the year -round celebrations of the 15th anniversary of Real Music House. The concert will be followed by a seminar with both artists. It will be held within the RMH Dialogue series and its theme will be the combination of international music dramaturgy within Slovak classical music.

Eugen Prochác and Ana Vaparinová Krsmanović together on the album Reflections in the captivating connection of the cello and accordion create a rare - color, lively and mysterious - symbiosis. The recording, which contains compositions of exceptional Slovak and Balkan composers, was created in the production of the couple Robert Pospiš & Martin Sillay and is published in their Real Music House publishing house. The basic and secondary musical education was completed in Belgrade, in the class of prof. Biljana Radosavljević, at the Secondary Music School "Dr. V. Vučković". During her studies she participated in many state and international competitions. She graduated from the accordion game at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava in the class of prof. Boris Lenka. During this period, she started to cooperate with several performers in the chamber game (Flaute, oboe, piano, singing, etc.), with which she premiered several works by Slovak composers (J.Kmitova, B. Milakovic, M.Piacek and others). In 2005 she recorded a solo composition Ľ. Čekovská “Fragments and Elegies”. She completed her doctoral studies at the Academy of Performing Arts on the theme “Chamber Creating of European Provenate for Accordion and Piano” in the classroom of doc. Jordana Palovičová. Since 2017 he has been actively working with pianist Zuzana Zamborská, with whom they perform in Slovakia and abroad. The duo specializes in the works of contemporary authors for accordion and piano (U. Rojko, E. Iršai and others). In 2019, the works of composers Petr Machajdik and Kevin Maya in Bratislava and Belgrade presented for the first time, and in 2021 the work of Czech author Jan Meisl was translated. She is an active member of the Radošinský naive theater as part of the theater performance Male Department. He continued his studies at the Prague Academy of Performing Arts under the leadership of Jozef Chuchr. He has improved his art with masters such as Daniel Šaffran, Erling Blondal Bengtsson, Mikhail Chomicer and Angelica May. He is the absolute winner of the Premio Valentino Bucchi International Competition in Rome in 1990. He performed in more than 40 countries of four continents, recorded a number of CDs for domestic and foreign publishing houses, has performed with world -famous personalities such as Sofia Gubajdulina, Giovanni Sellima, Jon Anderson Hensley… Since 1990, he has been teaching at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, led championship courses in Portugal, France, Austria, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam. He is the artistic director of the festival of nice music in Banská Štiavnica. "Eugen Prochác is currently one of the top Slovak artists of the middle generation. Since the beginning of the solo career, his performances have been characterized by precise technical mastering and sophisticated musical completion of the mentioned works.
