Robin Kester in Tolhuistuin

The music of Robin Kester from Rotterdam thrives well in moments of silent unrest. After her 'mini album' 'This is not a democracy' from 2020, the musician was praised for her exciting mix of chamber music and psychedelics on her debut album 'Honeycomb Shades'. Now Kester returns with her second album 'Dark Sky Reserve', a soundtrack for all the thoughts that come up as soon as the silence comes. 'Dark Sky Reserve' is Kesters most artistically oriented album so far, in which she combines a rich, layered humanity in music with minimalist lyricism.
