About event
Dear women, pilgrims, I invite you on a pilgrimage through the land of the female soul, accompanied by the magical Weaver grandmothers, which will smell of rituals and archetypal stories from ancient times and distant places of the earth.
Shaman weavers are spiritual women who weave their threads of stories, life, love, courage, spirits of mountains, rivers, forests and wild places of the world into the fabric of the earth. Like sisters from ancient clans, they sit around the great weaving of life behind the looms. That fabric carries all the textures, colors and patterns of the earth. The women who sit down at the looms connect with the ancestors who work around the sacred fire, and the navel of the loom becomes a mystical focus for them. They spin the thread into yarn, build it up, comb it, recognize the mysteries of the woven fabric to record and show what it means to be spiritual women in the sacred land of the soul. It will be opened to all women who want to recognize and preserve it.
The pilgrimage will last exactly 52 weeks, from January 2 to December 18, 2025, and every Thursday of the week you will receive a unique audio a recording with a story from the Oracle of Tkáčok by Carolyn Hillyer, which we prepared for you in collaboration with Marta Potančoková and Boris Cellar!
Seven times a year we will meet in person in clans and together with Danika Kováčová and Katka Klimová we will honor ancient archetypal stories in which the oldest magic is woven.
