MIRO JAROŠ, KALI AND MARK DANN BY THE DANUBE? THIS IS WHAT A SUNDAY LOOKS LIKE, WHICH WILL MOVE ALL OF SLOVAKIA
Even your 30 minutes will help move all of Slovakia! Come to the Kaufland Children's Festival, which is jointly brought to you by Kaufland and the Slovak Olympic and Sports Committee, and spend 30 minutes exercising for a good cause. Dance with Smejko and Tanculienko, Miro Jaroš and Mark Dann, or shoot at the goal in the hockey zone. Learn to play padel with Kali, or take mom, dad and grandpa and run for a medal in the Family MiniOlympics. By the way, how many of us will gather together to help shake up SLOVAKIA? We'll see you on Sunday, June 21 before Eurovea!
Do you have someone at home who can't stand to sit still for five minutes, or are you one of those who consider even moving from the couch to a full fridge a sport? Kaufland Children's Festival is preparing a big day in Bratislava, where everyone will have their own fun. Miro Jaroš, Mark Dann or Kali, dancing children, but also well-known personalities from the sports environment take turns on one stage. This will not be just an ordinary Sunday event. This will be the day when even your sneakers will start looking for their own way to the Danube embankment.
On Sunday, June 21, the surroundings of the Bratislava Eurovea will turn into one large sports field, dance floor, athletics oval and hockey stadium all in one. The Kaufland Children's Festival, together with the Slovak Children's Olympic and Sports Committee (SOŠV), will officially kick off the National Sports Week and the "Slovakia in Motion" project with an event full of music, good mood and famous faces, which from June 21 to 28, 2026 will get not only enthusiastic athletes moving, but also those who exercise their muscles just by carrying shopping out of the car.
Open-air gym
Sunday, June 21, will be packed with activities, among which everyone will find their favorite discipline. How about testing your strength in a family mini run, where children can win a medal and gifts from Kaufík? Or would you rather have a game of basketball or training with professional athlete Prince Samuel? Hockey challenges will test both accuracy and perception, and with padel you may find that a sport you didn't know much about until now is much more addictive than one would expect when looking at the racket.
There will also be a Family Mini Olympics, jumping, dance workout, mini football matches and since Kaufland invites all generations, there will also be chill zones and exercise stations for the little ones. Smejko with Tanculienko or Miro Jaroš will have children dancing even before their parents have time to find the nearest bench. Older vintages will be brought to a boil by Kali, the presenter duo Veronika Hatala and Miško Barbier will keep you at a pace faster than a morning sprint for the tram, and the talented hockey player Nela Lopušanová and Olympic medalist Danka Barteková will also come. And when you add the energy of coach Maroš Molnár and his warm-up, it will be clear that you will not only be lazing around with a coffee by the Danube, but also working on better fitness.
And don't be surprised that the biggest challenge of the day will not be the sports discipline, but how to get the children home in the evening. Because good mood, healthy competition and fun will win outright here.
Let's move Slovakia together
And you know what will be the best thing about this event? That it will not be about records or professional performances at all, but about shared experiences, laughter and the joy of movement. This is exactly what the National Sports Week and the Slovakia in Motion project are about, with which the Slovak Olympic and Sports Committee wants to motivate all age groups to physical activity. From children to seniors. Because even 30 minutes of movement a day can bring a big change for health and quality of life. And maybe you too will find that volunteering to run after the ball, sprint in the family mini run or shoot goals in the hockey goal is much more fun than switching TV channels. So, do you have your sneakers ready yet?
You can also play sports in the living room
That the Bratislava Eurovea is still a little out of hand for you? You won't lose anything. Kaufland is also thinking of those who will spend the third Sunday in June at the cottage, at the swimming pool or simply stay at home. Thanks to TURBO TV, you will be able to enjoy the Kaufland Children's Festival, which, as always, is free, live all day from the comfort of your living room or online at www.detskyfest.sk.
