About event
Animation program for families with children for the exhibition Dušan Pacúch – In context
On the last day of November - Sunday 30 November 2025, we again prepared a special program for families with children in the Turčianska Gallery in Martin. This time to the exhibition Dušan Pacúch - In context and on the topic of Freedom.
At 1:00 p.m. you will be treated to the first guided tour of Dušan Pacúch's exhibition. The works used in this exhibition were created in the last 3 years and reflect current topics that move the world (and the author as well). Divided society, technological development and the emergence of artificial intelligence, or Europe on the threshold of a new era. Dušan Pacúch conveys these difficult topics through his works, and we convey them to you and your children. The tour is accompanied by our lecturer Kristína Sakáčová.
At 15.00 there will be a second guided tour of the same exhibition for those who cannot make it to 13.00.
Ateliér Kocúr will also be open from 11.30 to 15.30, where children (as well as playful adults) will create with a gallery teacher. At the Sunday creative workshop, we will be inspired by the work of the Slovak artist Mikuláš Galanda, who depicted a dove as a symbol of peace, peace and hope in the work of Sveta I from 1929. The dove reminds us that freedom is not only about where we can go, but also about how we think, feel and create. We will create it using our own technique - a lego imprint. In the process, children will try out that it is possible to create even from ordinary things around us and that each result can be different, but equally beautiful. Each dove will be unique - just like each of us.
The single entrance fee for the whole day spent in the gallery is €3.00/person. (including discounted tickets). All activities and admission to all exhibitions are included in the price.
