About event
Donald Trump's return to the White House in January 2025 fundamentally influenced the world and European politics of the year ending. His contradictory policies made the world less predictable and forced European states to invest more in their own defense and seek new export markets. Eurosceptic voices are getting stronger in Slovakia and in the EU, and the Green Deal is awaiting reevaluation. The milestones of 2025 are analyzed in the year-end discussion by Tomáš Strážay, director of the SFPA, Alexander Duleba from the SFPA and Aneta Világi, a political scientist from the Department of Political Science of the Faculty of Philosophy of the Comenius University in Bratislava.
You can watch the discussion on December 1 at 12:00. The organizers are the Slovak Society for Foreign Policy and the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung in cooperation with PEVŠ and the Sme newspaper. Eva Mihočková, editor-in-chief of the SFPA foreign policy portal, is moderating.
