About event
Roxeanne Hazes will tour Dutch theaters for the first time in 2025. Together with her strong band, she performs the songs from her album De Tijd Gaat Beautiful Dingen Doen and those from her prize-winning debut Mijn Bloed (2017). Despite the fact that she just missed out on an Edison Prize this year in the In the category of best Dutch-language album, she received an overwhelming jury report: “With a strong personality, a deep voice that touches you and rock-solid productions, this is a hell of an album. Also a hopeful album, on which the music is modern, cinematic and very recognizable. Roxeanne Hazes proves to be at the top of the Dutch music scene.”
Her narrative songs and musical evolution seem made for the intimacy and atmosphere of the theater where Roxeanne will also tell more.
“Time is Going to Do Beautiful Things is a hopeful album in which the past years are sung. This album is truly a reflection of all those highs and lows. The clichés such as 'an album as a diary and processing' are completely applicable in this case. I sing about love, but also about saying goodbye. There are songs about friendship, fears, escape, self-discovery and much more.”
Roxeanne played a largely sold-out spring tour with her band this year, has performed at many summer festivals and is now finally taking that step into the theater . Her theater tour starts in a sold-out Carré.
