European Authors' Day - Read.ForReal!
We invite you to the Youth Library of the city of Košice (LitPark, Kukučínova 2), which has the honor of welcoming you to its premises as part of the celebration of European Authors' Day - Read.ForReal! (11.11. – 12.12.2025) writer of international importance Urszula Młodnicka.
She is a Polish author and psychologist, known all over the world especially for the books I like myself the way I am and I am a true friend. Her books are popular primarily for their ability to develop self-esteem, kindness and understanding in children, to support them in building healthy interpersonal relationships and a relationship with themselves. Młodnické's book I am a real friend was included in the catalog of the best children's books of 2024, which is published by the Košice Youth Library in cooperation with the Martinus bookstore.
Talks and discussions with the author (10:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m.) will take place in the Slovak-Polish language with interpretation.
Registration for larger school groups is now closed.
The event is part of the Read.ForReal! project, which aims to connect authors, readers, libraries, schools, bookstores and cultural institutions across Europe through reading and community activities. We are also a proud part of this project.
