About event
RUB-A-DUB FRIDAY
...is a regular party in Prague, which for more than 13 years focuses mainly on Reggae Music, which was created from the end of the 70s to the beginning of the 90s.
DanceHall, RaggaMuffin, Rub-A-Dub ... call it what you want, the important thing is that if you like this music and want to enjoy it in a pleasant atmosphere with a good beer, then the clubhouse of the Vacuum Art Space association is the right place for you!
King Yellowman, Burro Banton, Barrington Levy, Linval Thompson, Sister Nancy, Sister Carol, Frankie Paul, Charlie Chaplin, Josey Wales, Papa Michigan, General Smiley, General Saint, Clint Eastwood, Eek-A-Mouse, Toyan , Ranking Joe, Tristan Palmer, Wayne Smith... is just a tiny fraction of what this era has to offer, and we have a stockpile from which we can pull hit after hit almost ad infinitum, ..we ourselves are sometimes surprised how great songs were created in these years and we are happy to record them.
Of course, Nuff'N'Ruff reserves the right to spice up these evenings with quality SKA, DUB, or Roots music...
At these regular at the parties, we also give a chance to young selectors who pay tribute to similar genres as we do. They can come to us and be introduced to the secrets of working with turntables and a mixing desk, ..of course a 100% vinylist.
We look forward to seeing you, Vacuum Music & Foosball Space & Nuff'N'Ruff!
