Rühmchen (Offene Lesebühne)

RÜHMCHEN offers authors the opportunity to present themselves and their text and has often been the beginning of a Periplaneta book... Simply register by email ([email protected]), write to us what you want to do (+ reading sample), wait for our positive feedback - and come to the Periplaneta Literaturcafé in time for the start of the event at 7:30 p.m. We allocate up to 8 performance slots for the evening.

Frequently asked questions:
What can I perform? Anything you wrote yourself that has a beginning, a middle, and an end. This can be a short story, poetry, slam poetry, stand up or even a manifesto. (Please no unedited excerpts from manuscripts or serialized stories)
How long is my speaking time? 7 minutes.
I don't have any text, I just want to listen? Yes, very much, artists need attention. Rühmchen is completely public.
I am a musician and would like to take part, is that possible? Yes, you can also sing. However, only to a limited extent, because Rühmchen is intended to be a literary stage. Important: No covers, only your own compositions, only soloists and duos - and you are not a GEMA member.
Can I come over spontaneously and perform something? A clear YES. If there's still room, maybe. But it's always better to ask beforehand.
