Ruky veľkosti orecha

The hands of the nut size are a beautiful, moving and fragile story about the relationship of grandmother and granddaughter. The life of Tamarka and her grandmother is full of humor, wit, games and meals from the fiction of the world. Everything is sweet and fragrant. Only one day the unexpected guest comes. Mrs. Dementia settles in Babk's head and suddenly everything is the other way around. No one knows what to do next. But Tamarka is a wise and sensitive child. She manages to find a way to not lose proximity with a confused grandmother, while protecting her and herself. The story is rare authentic. It was written by Croatian director Tamara Kininović. It is exceptional in that it not only brings Tamar's personal experience, sensitivity and memories, but also instructions on how to deal with a very difficult situation when one family member becomes ill for dementia. It is a story for children, but also for adults. Puppets: Miriam Horňáková
