Enno Poppe
Rundfunk for nine synthesizer (2015-2018)
Rundfunk comes back to Berlin after numerous stations across Europe-from Cologne, Luxembourg and Vienna via Paris and Istanbul to Magdeburg and Barcelona. After his last performance in Vilnius at the Gaida Festival, the work can now be experienced in the concert hall for the first time.
"Without the radio, the new music would not exist." The development of electronic music in the studios of the broadcasters ensured great stars of this medium. Reason for a composed homage: In radio for nine players: Inside with keyboards and computers, Enno Poppe deconstructs historical synthesizer sounds of the 60s and 70s and builds them together in a crazy way.
Ensemble mosaic // nine synthesizer; Kristjana Helgadottir, Simon Strasser, Roland Neffe, Ernst Surberg, Chachatur Kanajan, Karen Lorenz, Niklas Seidl, Mathis Mayr, Enno Poppe, Arne Vierck
The concert is part of the month of contemporary music Berlin -> www.field-notes.berlin
