COLLISION
Collision is characterized by a penetrating energy and exquisite joy of playing, which is rooted in the explosiveness of rock music. Their sound is often compared to bands such as Foo Fighters, Minds of 99, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Nothing But Thieves. The band was formed in Silkeborg in 2020.
In June 2024 they released their single "LIFE LOVES TIME" from the debut album "Allowed To Dream". "We have always been drawn to the modern rock sound, which is also something that is clearly reflected in our live shows, which can clearly be felt in the single," says guitarist Mads Brunsbjerg. However, the band's catalog also contains the emotional and vulnerable side of the music. On the band's second single "WASTED LOVE FOREVER", the melancholic tones unfold. Oskar Haarup Bendixen's vocal performance contains precisely these emotions. The debut album was mixed by Peter Kjærgaard, who has mixed, among others, Minds of 99.
The album "Allowed To Dream" only marks the beginning of their musical journey. The band's vision is to become a prominent force within the indie rock scene. In the wake of the release of "Allowed To Dream", Collision is now preparing to let the music live on the Danish live stages. The band looks forward to giving the music a whole new life in front of a live audience. At RUST you can expect music with deep feelings and high-intensity energy.
SOGARD
Sogard is a critically acclaimed Alternative Pop-rock Power-Trio from Kolding, composed of three guys in their early twenties, with the roots planted deep in creating an experience with music that tells a story and lyrics that make you feel and think. What particularly characterizes Sogard as a band is the stage show and the performance they deliver. You will never experience two Sogard concerts alike, as you quickly feel how the band feels about the music and are inspired by the spontaneity that in Sogard creates something unique for each concert.
The band began recording their debut album at the end of 2023 "Spirit Valley" with the help of Mikkel Lyneborg and Søren Andersen from Medley Studios. The debut single 'The Sinner' was released in February and was received with very positive feedback from listeners and reviewers. In addition, Sogard has released two other singles leading up to the album release. The album was released to the public in its entirety in May 2024.
