About event
We invite you to the Rustic Revue concert this Sunday at 18:00!
The Rustic Revue project was created in Canada by a chance meeting of two singers from different parts of the world - Slovakian Jakub Kollár (also known as Jacob Arthur) and Indonesian Pandu Arga. As an acoustic duo, they spent two years in Toronto, where they became familiar faces at local open mics and recorded their debut EP. Songs from this recording were later heard on the Folkfórum show on Rádio Devín, as well as on Canadian radio.
After Jacob Arthur returned to his native Bratislava, the project grew into a four-member band, working remotely with Pandu Argo, and acquired a new sound combining their folk roots with rock, country and indie influences, inspired mainly by artists of the 60s such as The Beatles, Bob Dylan or The Band. Rustic Revue thus begins a new chapter and brings its characteristically sincere and melodic songs to the Slovak music scene.
