About event
On the southern edge of Indiana, just north of Louisville, Kentucky, multi-instrumentalist, artist and songwriter Ryan Davis has been making a name for himself with his unique Americana-noir sound for years. Yet he really broke through with the double album 'Dancing on the Edge' (2023), the debut of Ryan Davis & The Roadhouse Band. The album was widely praised and is seen as an instant classic in the genre.
On May 7, the band announced their second album 'New Threats from the Soul', with a single of the same name that was immediately named "Best New Track" by Pitchfork. The album combines striking texts and compelling packages with a playful, energetic approach to existential themes.
