These four short films about Lebanon's threatened biodiversity will take you on a journey through the eyes of 4 Lebanese Filmmakers and 5 Lebanese Environmentalists that chose to highlight the vast spectrum of our nature and all the harm it has been and currently is undergoing.
⛰️Deep from the mountain's womb, an almost untouched grotto pulsates in an ultra dimensional realm, a source of spring water, a home for bats, decorated with infinite sculptures formed by time. It is for sale.
🏜️In the Bekaa Valley, snakes and wildlife prosper, they enrich the ecosystem and assist the farmers to have a healthier yield. Yet, the use of poisonous pesticides destroys their habitat.
🌊By the sea, a steno endemic flower still fills up space and time with its dreamy fragrance, urbanization eats up its habitat extensively. It is endangered.
🌳A tree on the other hand, continues to thrive despite the condensed city smog and concrete. Yet, it is considered invasive.

en/ S101 is a series of educational workshops and other leisure programmes aimed at deepening the practical and creative skills of anyone who wants to get involved in the arts, either in collaboration with an existing institution or by creating a new one. Each workshop is led by a member of our team alongside invited external professional guests. Whether it is learning a new technical skill or exploring a creative field, our educational opportunities allow individuals to professionalize their active participation over the maintenance, operation or creation of art spaces in an effective and accessible way.
