Dreams have the power to shape our vision of the future, but at the same time remain fragile. The exhibition reflects the path from an idealized view of life to its unpredictable transformation. "Sad pleasure", the second artistic presentation of Olga Bley in the FOG Gallery, is stated in parallel with the pre -premiere screening of a new document with the same name. The film by director Lukáš Vízner, created in collaboration with the gallery, dives in the depth of the legacy of the pioneer of the Slovak photograph of the 20th century. She perceived the photo as a means of layering visual elements, often unknowingly leaving personal traces. The focus of the current exhibition is a series of photographs from 1970, created for the collection of poetry "poems about dreams and sad pleasure". These images capture volatile moments in which the material world blends with imagination, contemplation and desire. Through the interconnection of artistic and documentary photography, along with the installation fragments, the exhibition examines the fragile border between dreams and reality, as well as between expectations and disappointment. The idea of the concept develops as a reflection of the life of an artist, shaped by personal history, with fibers of intimate stories wrapped in her works.
