After the excellent concerts in recent years, the PJO Berlin and his director Akim Camara will be guests again in Spandau. The orchestra opens the new season with Ravel wonderful four orchestral pieces Le Tombeau de Couperin. Ravel devoted every single sentence to the memory of a fallen French soldier from his circle of friends in the First World War. The playful concertino by Richard Strauss, with the brothers Henry and Cedric Peterson, then sounds as soloists. Finally, then Robert Schumann's famous Rhenish symphony, which has been on February 6, 1851 from Düsseldorf from a triumphal procession through the concert halls of the world and has remained his most popular symphony to this day. €*
