Salamandr parade
The traditional top of the program, the parade registered in the representative list of intangible cultural heritage Slovakia. The Salamandr's parade is full of cheerful and serious characters and the paintings are sorted on Ul. Youth tracks to later join the accompaniment of mining and metallurgical towns, associations and institutions and together arrived at the city center around 8:00 pm

The exhibition Vnuk and Dedo

75. anniversary of the founding of the Slovak mining archive
1. March 2025 was commemorated by the Slovak mining archive 75 years since its founding. During the traditional Open Door Day, we have prepared probes for the history of the archive and behind the scenes of this important memory institution. You will learn what the archivist's job is and how we keep, restore and digitize rare archival documents. You will know the turbulent history of our main building and the people who worked here. You can also participate in the knowledge competition where the winners will receive interesting prizes.
