What can a girl's solo adventure in Oceania look like? For example, like the New Zealand crossing after Te Araroa! In addition, Eva Schrollová wanted to spice up the already demanding 3,000 km long route across the two main islands, so she set out on it only after the high season. She traveled 1,300 kilometers across the South Island, encountering almost no living creatures along the way and struggling with limited daylight and occasional snow in the beginning of winter. The remaining 1,700 kilometers, which lead through the North Island, she covered by bicycle the following summer (and without previous cycling experience). At the end of her journey, she sold her bike, bought a swimsuit and flip flops, found a sailboat and sailed 2,300 nautical miles across the South Pacific with an as yet unknown crew. "It was impossible to walk or drive any further, so I sailed. I threw up two hours after we set sail. (laughs) It took us 12 days to get to Fiji. 12 days of only blue water and sky," recalls Eva. She ended up spending two months on the ship, during which she sailed not only to Fiji, but also to Vanuatu and other islands. And she didn't even want to go to Oceania in the first place...

Eva Schrollová (28) is already traveling since the age of 19, he has been looking for various adventures. In addition to her most recent trip to New Zealand, where she lived for two years, she went to cook fish in Alaska, volunteered in Vietnam, and also spent one season in Japan. She is a skiing and swimming instructor and masseuse.
