SAMUEL LIBAY - master of filigree

The exhibition 𝐩𝐩𝐭𝐭𝐨 ជ𝐩𝙔 - master of filigree brings exceptional and attractive works to Slovakia for the first time. Plan a visit to Banská Bystrica, where the goldsmith lived and worked. You can admire his unique and rare works for the first time in Thurz's house. In cooperation with the Public Collection Center of the Hungarian National Museum - the Art and Industry Museum, we offer visitors a unique opportunity to see products made from the demanding technique of filigree.

⚜ Samuel Libay produced not only small decorative and utilitarian objects, but also large sculptures and busts. His exceptional works, which will be presented at the exhibition, are inspired, among other things, by nature and resemble fragile Japanese works of art with the fine technique of filigree. back to the city where the goldsmith lived and created.
