San.Son sample is a sample from the sound arts festival Sanatorium Sonorum, which will take place this year in Prague's Studio Hrdinů.
The original Sanatorium Sonorum festival was held twice in Cabin Studio Pěčice near Mladá Boleslav. For its first year, the Sanatorium Sonorum project won the Vinyl prize in the Start of 2024 category. The festival will also bear the shortened name San.Son from this year.
The listening festival with international participation presents compositions and artistic projects that were created directly at the venue during residencies. This year, however, the festival in Pěčice will not take place, despite the long-prepared dramaturgy and implementation of most of the residences.
23. August, however, you will be presented with a tasting in the San.Son sample format in Prague. In 2027, the festival will take place in its full-fledged form and will present the entire dramaturgy focused this time on space in music and multichannel sound.
