Santini v Praze

A walk with Unknown Prague will take you through places associated with the youth and apprenticeship of Jan Blažej Santini Aichel.

Participants will visit places associated with the youth and apprenticeship of the famous architect and will get to know the buildings of his teacher Jean Baptista Mathey in Hradčany. The center of Santini's work in Prague is Nerudova Street. The two palaces and the U Kajetánů church are complemented by the Valkounský house, which Santini bought and rebuilt and where he lived and died. It will also stop at the site of the now defunct cemetery where Santini was buried. On the walk, they will get to know some of the works of Santini's important contemporaries from the ranks of architects, sculptors and painters.

• Duration of the walk: 1.5–2 hours

• Cancellation conditions: Up to 24 hours before the start of the walk, it is possible to rebook the ticket for another date, or to send a substitute who will register in the name of the buyer.
