The year of Czech music 2024 brings an exceptional recital by the versatile Czech piano artist Sára Medková at the very end. The dramaturgical focus of the solo evening is the cult oratorio for a speaking pianist called De Profundis, written by the American composer with Polish roots, Frederic Rzewski. Its introduction is accompanied by an original video projection by Lukáš Medek.
Another two works by contemporary authors from Austria (Lukas Haselböck) and the Czech Republic (Vít Zouhar) are complemented by a selection of J.S. Bach's timeless piano gems.
