Sarah Lesch
"Poetry & Resistance Tour 2025"
08.10.2025 • Berlin • Frannz Club
Admission: 7:00 p.m. • Start: 8:00 p.m.
When SARAH LESCH packs the ukulele, guitar along with strong and touching stories into the tour suitcase, then the audience is guaranteed to get their money's worth. An outrageously good mix of punk and poetry, with attitude, heart and backbone. There is something for everyone here. Whether intimate, ballad-like folk pearls, smart analyzes of contemporary historical developments or political recommendations for action - SARAH LESCH's great strength is and remains the stylistic range and the intimacy that she creates with ease. Approachable and thrilling, with a lot of goosebumps factor, with new and old songs!
With her song “Testament” she reached an audience of millions. Even back then, SARAH LESCH distinguished herself by telling open secrets. Drives important discourses on her social media channels and keeps her finger on the pulse of the times. Sarah Lesch has retained this in the new program.
SARAH LESCH, born in 1986, is one of the most important protagonists* of the new German songwriter scene with her seven albums and numerous awards. Their
lyrical and subtle songs deal with the big things on a small scale and observe everyday life and the world from a perspective that is always close to what is happening and is not afraid to take a close look at uncomfortable topics. In her songs the line between entertainment and attitude falls. Nothing is irrelevant, everything is important. Rarely are the socio-political issues of our day brought to the point as comprehensively as in her texts.
