About event
Dear gloom people,
after many years, we have decided to revive the old well-known Šariš Rock Fest, which will be held in the Variety Hall in our beloved Sabinov. This decision was made not only because of the beautiful nostalgia and memories we have of this event, but also because of the desire to do something more for you than just a regular concert.
During the entire history of the Šariš Rock Fest, we have experienced truly unforgettable moments with you, therefore our effort is to continue the tradition but at the same time experience new moments with you that will also become indelible memories.
We have always carefully selected performers and it will not be any different now. You can look forward to a variety of genres, great guests and an evening full of rock and metal.
Our friends from SLIGHT LIE accepted our invitation. These fighters from Prešov managed to release a new album "From Caroline... With Hate" this year, which received excellent reviews not only on the SK scene, but also abroad. Therefore, they will show you a very fresh set full of great new products.
You can listen to the new album from the SL workshop here:

Another of the guests are the unique Prešov hard rockers ALTER EGO. The attribute of a unique band, even considering Slovak conditions, really suits them. Their presentation of honest rock'n'roll makes a striking reference to the exuberant 70s, and the guys really play this genre from the heart.
See for yourself at this link, where you can find a piece from their latest album "Glass of Inspiration":

Košice metal singers BREAKING THE TAROT certainly confirm the promised variety of genres, who were created only in 2021 and already have quite a lot to their credit. The Košice hit is made up of musicians from the well-known bands DEMENTOR, WITHIN SILENCE and MEREDITH, and they can transform this experience on stage into an explosive energetic show.
Enjoy, here's a preview of their phenomenal metalcore:

And to top it off, we have prepared a cherry on top for you cake. They are the legendary Prešov titans WAYD, whose concert activity has increased somewhat recently. WAYD has been on the scene for a little over 30 years, which in itself promises a quality show. Progressively tuned death metal, which makes them a Slovak jewel, has been appreciated by critics not only at home but also abroad for many years.
For the 20th anniversary of the release of the successful album "Decadance", they decided to release it in a limited number and in their own edition on vinyl. So let's recall this delicacy at this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=86stBBdlOWk&list=PLNXIG5JKtgjhaMfdDgaq83H-1wu7hNYrN
