About event
We invite you to the launch of a new book for children by Pavel Ryška and Jan Šrámek.
You can look forward to vegetarian refreshments, drawing and a short "lecture" on the passage of food through the sauro fart. And of course to both mentioned authors.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Think you know everything about dinosaurs? We bet you haven't heard of this epoch-making discovery. During excavations, scientists discovered that ancient giant lizards had special pockets in their bodies. Because they ate a huge amount of plant food, they produced a lot of gas during digestion. And thanks to this gadget, they could use them smartly.
Gases helped the inhabitants of the Mesozoic Mountains in movement, in games and in competition with each other, in the search for food or partners. Thanks to them, they easily reached the fresh leaves on the tops of the trees and easily escaped predators. What's more, when a giant asteroid hit Earth, causing a planetary catastrophe, our sauropods were saved.
A richly illustrated book for younger school readers mixes fantasy with science. In addition to entertainment, it also brings lessons about how important balance is for life on our planet.
