🪐 Space under surveillance or Slovak science fiction during normalization and its critical message for today
🤔How Slovak authors wrote about distant planets, the future or alien civilizations, but at the same time captured the hopes and fears of their time, from utopian visions of a better world to apocalyptic images.
How they strategically worked with ideologically acceptable motives - with the idea of an optimistic future, "comrades in space" or visions of the victory of socialism, to indicate between the lines what they could not say directly. ✍️
