🌊 Water sweet, drinking and clean - we need it the most and Slovakia has the advantage that we have enough. But we also face a quiet and serious threat in our country: toxic substances from old landfills, which can contaminate groundwater and endanger our health and future. 🫢
⚠️ One of the greatest ecological loads is the landfill in Vrakun after the former chemical plants of J. Dimitrov - a chemical timed problem that concerns all of us. 🥼 Our scientists have been investigating how to clean these polluted waters for years - and bring a real solution.
🎤 Zuzana Bártová will take you behind the scenes of top research and introduce you to a unique technology that can remove even the most toxic substances - without the use of chemistry, just using electricity. 🔌
This method could be the key to saving contaminated waters not only under Bratislava, but also in locations that suffer from similarly dangerous mining outfits. 🚱
👀 You will learn how water changes from an invisible menacing problem to an opportunity for science - and hope for the population.
