About event
The first and last debate with Tomáš Navrátil and Martin Souček in Prague - about RAAM, the Domestici project and palliative care.

The Race Across America, or RAAM, has the reputation of being the toughest road race race in the Ultra category. Martin and Tomáš were the first Czechs to defeat him in the doubles category. They covered a distance of 4,936 km from the west to the east of the USA in an incredible 8 days and 8 hours.
They went to the very edge of what the human body is capable of handling for the clear reason of shedding light on the topic of palliative care.
During the race, Martin and Tomáš traveled through 13 American states. They drove in the extreme heat of the California desert and in the pouring rain of the endless plains of Kansas. They exposed their bodies to extreme stress and sleep deprivation, and they also had to handle the demanding logistics of taking turns.
Martin prepared for his race for a year and a half. He quit his job and turned his own life upside down to gain hope to succeed. Unfortunately, he failed to qualify for the solo race, but in tandem with Tomáš, he finally went to America and finished successfully.
How did the preparation and qualification for RAAM go? What was the most difficult during the race and what pleasantly surprised Martin and Tomáš? How did the intended rotation system work and how much did they have to improvise? Why did they choose palliative care as the topic they want to support?
They will talk about it in the only public debate in Prague.
All proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Domestik collection to support palliative care. It is entirely up to you how much you contribute.
In addition, the Ski and Bike Center Radotín, the organizer of the talk, will donate 1% of every purchase made in its store to the Domestik collection in the period 14/10/13 - 13/11/2024 .
