The SchauDepot offers an exclusive insight into the outstanding collection of architectural models of the Academy of the Arts. In a permanent exhibition, the highlights of the collection are presented, changing presentations deepen current topics related to architecture and urban development.
In the show depot, very different building artificial designs and visions can be discovered: Septing of the Roman Septimius-Severus sheet from 1786 via the colorful glass building game Dandanah, the Bruno Taut around 1920 designed as a reform toy, right down to urban planning models from Berlin from the time of reconstruction after the Second World War to the present. Architecture drawings, photos and plans expand the stories behind the models and complement them with numerous details.
