Schauspielkurs für Jugendliche und junge Erwachsene

A weekly acting course for anyone interested between the ages of 15 and 21 with and without experience (Thursdays 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.)

What awaits you:

At Next Generation you will learn the basics of acting in scene, text and role work and improvisation. Speech and movement training as well as rhythm are also part of our courses. Acting theory and technique are also incorporated into the lessons.

Together we explore the differences between acting expression on stage and in front of the camera. For several years now we have been focusing more and more on the topic of film. This includes, among other things, intensive scene work with script texts and the reenactment and development of film scenes: How do I implement stage directions correctly? How do I authentically portray emotions in front of the camera? And how do I work out the exciting subtext of a scene?

Once a year you can demonstrate your skills in a performance and at the same time gain insight into the work of the other courses. In addition to families and friends, we also invite decision-makers from theater, film and television to this event.

Who will accompany you:

The course is led by our wonderful lecturer Ines Bartholomäus, state-trained and experienced actress and acting teacher.

She has been playing at various stages in Berlin for 30 years, including the Hansa Theater, the Studio Stage, the Grandstand and at the Jedermann Festival in the Berlin Cathedral.

Ines has been teaching regularly at several acting schools for many years, including the Babelsberg Konrad Wolf Film University. She also works as a coach for film and theater and has already successfully prepared numerous young actors for entrance exams at acting schools and auditions at theaters as well as for castings & e-castings and for filming.

Are you interested in joining in? Get to know us in a non-binding trial lesson - entry into the course is possible on an ongoing basis!

Further information:

In our acting courses, a maximum of 10-12 students are taught in person.

The regular monthly fee is €80 (reduced €64) and is paid throughout the year.

There are no lessons on official holidays and during Berlin school holidays. To compensate for this, a course presentation including a preparatory intensive workshop takes place once a year (usually in autumn). During the performance, you and your fellow actors will have the opportunity to show family, friends and other interested audiences what you have learned and worked on in the course.
