About event
Birds sing, bugs buzz, and a symphony of lawnmowers starts in the distance. Summer is here and VOŠ Scholastika Game Design and FAMU Department of Game Design invite you to their first joint game jam! Come create a pun and create more paths between people from different schools, disciplines and backgrounds. Maybe we'll mow the entire lawn, and there will be no need to create roads, but next time we'll meet in an open field with a collar in hand ♡ (Clarification: there will be no grass mowing at this event.) info!
You need to sign up for the jam via this questionnaire and write your name there, otherwise we can't let you into the building. Capacity is limited and unfortunately we cannot let in people who are not registered via the questionnaire! https://forms.gle/yczwwby2bW33KxMX6
⋆˚࿔ What is it about?
A game jam is a short-term event where a game or some kind of gaming activity is created in a group. In this case, it will be one weekend (Friday evening, Saturday, Sunday).
⋆˚࿔ For whom?
SCHOLA x FAMU jam is primarily for the students of both schools, but people outside are more than welcome! It is an event with the aim of getting to know each other and establishing cooperation between disciplines.
No previous experience with creating games is necessary, participation is free!
Nothing is contested, there are no prizes. It's just about creating something and having fun.
Jam is a queer friendly space<3
⋆˚࿔ When?
We start on Friday 19/06/2026 at 17:30, end on 21/06/2026 at 18:00. After the jam, there will be a space for presentations of your creations and playing with each other.
Please arrive early so that we can start on time and have enough time for your creation.
