About event
Over 100 years ago, the city of Schöneberg was incorporated into Greater Berlin, which was met with resistance at the time because the place was a wealthy community.
How did Schöneberg come to be called the village of million-dollar farmers? How did this area develop, what can still be found of the old village today?
The tour starts at Bayerischer Platz and leads past the town hall through Rudolph Wilde Park to the Catholic St. Norbert Church and the old Protestant village church on the main street. We then go along the old villas there into the quieter Feurigstraße and we end at the Julius-Leber-Brücke S-Bahn station.
Meeting point: At the lion monument on Bayerischer Platz
City guide: Ralph Jakisch
As the number of participants is limited, we ask that you register.
Cost: 14 €
