About event
Our October meeting will be dedicated to funeral architecture and design. It is architectural solutions that significantly influence our societal relationship to dying and farewell rituals. In order to contribute to a more open discussion about this often taboo topic, we approached creators who face the issues of this area head-on and bring new perspectives and solutions with their work, with which they strive not only to raise the aesthetics of the last farewell.
🎃 the architect Václav Šuba from the office Objektor will talk about the new site of the cemetery in Suchdol
🎃 the new orientation system for Prague cemeteries will be shown by his co-author Josef Tomšej
🎃 the interior of the funeral studio will be presented by Jana Trombíková

The aim of the light-hearted evening format is primarily to present young female authors and their projects (which are often on a smaller scale). The outputs are intended to provide space for sharing practical experience and mutual learning.
