Hello everyone!
We invite you to a seminar that will be for the first time in conjunction with ICRC. The theme will be animal experiments in research and will guide us by MVDr. Eva Odehnalová. The seminar will include legislation associated with animal experiments, selecting a suitable model, preparing the projects and more.
Professional profile: At the end of 2019, I received a less time in the animal center, where I was in charge of preparing projects of experiments and my own experiments. In August 2021, I became the head of the Anim Center, where I operate so far. My job is to help other FNUSA scientific teams with the preparation of animal experiments. I prepare for them projects of experiments, communicate with the expert committee and the Ministry of Agriculture. I also cooperate with Czech and foreign companies that develop new medical devices and procedures, and need to test their products on animals. In the course of experiments I am in charge of animal anesthesia, application of drugs and postoperative care. Occasionally, I present the results of our experiments at congresses (mostly cardiological). I am a member of the Chamber of Veterinarians and the Society for Science on Laboratory Animals. If I have a moment of leisure time, I like to walk through nature.
