About event

The AOS International Project is an old-school all-round strength training concept. Our goal is not a specialized, otherwise unusable athlete, but a universal soldier, or rather – a strongman!

Jiří Tkadlčík, a pioneer of strongman sports, the strongest man in Europe and the strongest man in the world of middleweight in 2018 and 2024, will guide you through the seminar, and an experienced coach, and Pavel Macek, a renowned international strength training coach, one of the 4 European Master Instructors of the prestigious StrongFirst school, the lightest athlete in the world who completed the so-called Sinister challenge, the godfather of kettlebell exercises in the Czech Republic and chief instructor of the KB5 movement, strength and conditioning school .

Health & Strength magazine announced in the April 6, 1950 issue that the number of known 42 lifts would be reduced to just three weightlifting lifts, even two in the 1970s. Powerlifting settled on three lifers. The amazing power skills of the old-school all-purpose strongmen and the remaining dozens of lifts and strength moves have disappeared into the abyss of history…

And now we're going to rewind time and teach you the best and most important of the old-school arsenal. Because the all-rounders of the old school practiced all possible exercises, and did not stop at the basic, most important exercises such as deadlifts, squats or presses: they lifted different weights in a hundred and one ways, juggled with iron, practiced handstands and other gymnastic skills, they wrestled, cycled and swam and in general - they were all-round athletes.
