**Journey through the Priorat wine landscape**
The hiking excursion between **Falset and Gratallops** following a section of the **GR 174**, is an immersion in the heart of Priorat. This path, born as a variant of the historic **GR 7**, unfolds between terraced vineyards, slate hills and landscapes marked by wine culture.
The trail connects two of the most emblematic towns in the region: **Gratallops**, nerve center of prestigious wineries and wines, and **Falset**, capital of Priorat. Throughout the route, the walker enjoys a changing landscape, where the silence of the countryside mixes with the murmur of the wind among the olive and almond trees.
The **GR 7** and its variant **GR 7.1** run through a large part of the towns in Priorat, forming a network that links towns steeped in history and tradition. From **Coll de la Teixeta** towards **Porrera**, passing through **Falset, Bellmunt, Torroja** and the **Cartuja de Escaladei**, to the heights of the **Sierra del Montsant** and finally **Cornudella**, the path traces a journey that combines cultural heritage, spirituality and Mediterranean nature. In this case we will do the stage that includes Falset to Gratallops passing through **Bellmunt de Priorat and El Lloar.**
Walking along this stretch is much more than physical exercise: it is a journey through the origin of the Priorat wine landscape, where each step brings the hiker closer to the authentic character of the region.

**First meeting point:** Fabra i Puig. We meet in Sant Andreu Arenal at the Bus Station.

**Activity start time**
**10.30 - 11.00** Arriving in Falset we will park the cars and take a short tour of the town.
**11.00 - 16.00** Excursion from Falset to Gratallops
Picnic lunch during the same around 2:00 p.m. Near El Lloar
**16.30 - 17.30** Time to visit Gratallops, buy typical Priorat products (Wine, Olive oil, sausages, etc.), Snack and rest a little in Gratallops. Take a taxi to recover the cars.
**18.30 - 21.00** Return to BCN.
