SENS Festival - SEeds for the New Society

Four days of charging, connecting with nature and each other and sharing experiences about how you are committed to the transition to the new society

The seeds for the new society germinate. We see it everywhere. One clamp is bigger than the other, but it looks like we are moving towards a flourishing earth and with it equally flourishing people and communities who live in harmony with the earth. At least, if it is up to the transition accelerators and precursors who organize and visit this festival.

We connect with the Netherlands, part of the North Sea delta, where the rivers flow to the sea and the areas in between where we work with each other are actively building our own region. In the beautiful nature of Drenthe we learn from each other, transition accelerators and pioneers who build these local communities every day with trial and error and with active hope.

For whom?< /strong>

This is a festival for active doers, seekers of inspiration for more impact, strugglers with and from the government, business community, neighborhood and region.

What does the festival look like?

In these days we have very few speakers, and a lot of collaboration and meeting. We work with, among other things, open space and self-organization (even helping out a little with practical matters, everyone is a crew). it is more about discovering and articulating together (not about selling each other's own methodologies) the connections we already have. And try out new approaches, so that we learn with and from each other in openness.

Why this festival?

Here we connect from heart to heart. We listen curiously to each other's perspectives, which are sometimes very different. We go on a quest to find the right path between purple crocodiles and across systemic thresholds and boundaries. We as supporters organize this festival, we carry it ourselves and build the new society ourselves.

The government, business community, social organizations and science are involved. welcome to experience the new society and experiment and learn with us.

Rules

• We organize the festival together, everyone pays for their accommodation and food.
• We provide food, dishes and keep the grounds together clean.
• Those who are there are the ones who have to be there.
• Something extra or new is always allowed to happen spontaneously
• You are allowed to be in the open space workshops that contribute to the theme of the festival.
• Take care of yourself and what you need: if you don't need anything, do nothing for a while. The program is not mandatory.
