About event
The first premiere of a new opera fairy tale based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beautiful fairy tales.
The opera was first performed at the world-famous Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg in 1979 and has been in its repertoire almost continuously since then. In it, the author reveals to the child audience the entire complex world of opera, from a lively colorful orchestra, through demanding but melodic solo parts, to the atmosphere of the theater as a magical space of dreams.
