About event
The roots of traditional Japanese bindings go back to Ito seius for more than 100 years, the father of Kinbak, who began to bind, study and publish his work focused on beauty in suffering. It was followed by several Japanese generations that further developed traditional style. These included Nureki Chimuo and his follower Naka Akira, whose Naka Ryu is currently one of the popular and advanced directions of bindings for his refined Japanese aesthetics and strong experiences.
Western riggers and their partners, and in particular, are more interested in the security of the bound. This style adapted from Naka Ryu Riccardo Wildties, Deshi (follower) Naka Akira, along with his partner Red Sabbath. Subsequently, we will learn five basic curtains of traditional Japanese binding. In addition to their technical design, we will pay attention to the gradual construction of the session during the bindings and the importance of surrender in ropes that will help us master more difficult parts of bindings and dive deeper into beauty in suffering.
