About event
Blanka Čechová has been a Czech writer for a long time living in Croatia. She graduated from the Faculty of Law of Charles University and the study of creative writing at the University of Oxford. She worked professionally as a notarial junior, lawyer at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg and a member of the OSCE mission in Kosovo. This experience was created by her book Total Balkans (2011), which was published in 2017 in English as Total Balkans: One Woman's Search for Justice in Kosovo and this year it has a new reprint and electronic version. The fiancée on the road, which is an original photo industr in Croatia. As part of the discussion with the author, we will present this book, which entertains and with ease recommends interesting places and meetings with the locals.
The event takes place in cooperation with the Municipal Library in Prague
