About event
The space in front of the shopping center on Petra Křivky Street could finally become the real heart of the city district. After many years, when it remained unused due to unresolved property relations, the situation has changed significantly. The city acquired key plots of land and technical infrastructure objects were entrusted to the city districts. This step paves the way for the realization of a new square, which will be a dignified center of public life. The future form will be decided by an architectural competition, which will enable the comparison of various proposals and the selection of the most suitable solution.
Help us to get as much information as possible for the upcoming competition. Until December 31, 2024, you have the opportunity to fill out an online survey anonymously on the municipal website ankety.damenavas.cz. A personal meeting with the management of the city district and the Office of the Architect of the City of Brno, which organizes the competition, will take place on Wednesday, December 11 from 4 to 6 p.m. directly in front of the Albert shopping center. Your opinions will become an important basis for the architects who will participate in this competition. The Nový Lískovec district will also get a better idea of how the locality is perceived by its inhabitants and what they would like to change.
