About event
In the last literary salon of 2024, we will immerse ourselves in history. The Old Norse translator Kristýna Králová tells us about the late Old Icelandic sagas. We will talk about the book Ghostly Relatives, which was published by the Argo publishing house in 2024. Hosted by Michal Švec.
You can watch the live stream on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 8 p.m. on the Skandinávský dům Facebook page. The recording will later be made available on our YouTube channel.
The online partner of the Nordic Literary Salon is Překladatelé Severu - an association bringing together translators of fiction from Nordic languages into Czech. The event is part of the Scandinavian House's year-long project Nordic Literature in the Heart of Europe 2024. It takes place with the financial support of the capital city of Prague and the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic.
