WHAT WILL YOU EXPERIENCE DURING THE ALL-DAY WORKSHOP?
-You will get to know your voice.
-You will find out that the voice is not just singing or speaking.
-You will try different voice games and exercises.
-You will find out how the voice can be a unique key to yourself.
We use the voice every day, but what do we actually know about it? The voice workshop creates a space for self-discovery and for the experience of music, which is created even on the basis of surprisingly simple tasks.
The workshop is suitable for participants of all levels, including beginners - the level of experience does not matter.

Ridina Ahmed is here a prominent figure on the Czech music scene for many years. She sang jazz for a long time, later became a member of the live band of the Floex project, after which she began to perform on her own.
For the solo project Hlasokraj, she won the Next Wave award in the Discovery of the Year category. In 2006, she released her solo CD Hlasem. Currently solo and also in a duo with Petr Tichý as VOICE versus BAS - (nominated for the Anděl 2016 award). As a guest, she sang a joint improvisation with Bobby McFerrin at his Prague concert. In 2024, the album Hlaskontrabas Oktet: Kaleidoscapes (Animal music) was released
She is the author and co-author of music for several dance and movement performances; participated in the music for several films, collaborated with e.g. with Post Bellum, Dance Prague festival, Ponec theater, Polárka theater etc. She founded and runs Hlasohled, a center for working with the human voice.
She is also the author of the award-winning audio documentaries for Czech Radio - the series Sádlo a Odpustit?
