Shakespeare a a Alžbeta

After the successful release of the popular comedies All About Women and Puppet, the Municipal Theater of Trenčín returns to the world-famous Croatian author Mir Gavran. This time, the theater staged a historical drama that discusses love and possession, freedom and power, and the attempt to control the lives of others, which are extremely topical topics. A fictional story from the Renaissance period, it presents famous and important figures of history and art against the background of the love affair between a young playwright and the Queen of England. In the play, the strict world of politics comes into conflict with the liberal arts. The treatment supplemented with authentic Shakespearean texts promises interesting moments and surprising "Raven" outcomes of situations. In 2019, the Municipal Theater of Trenčín participated in the Gavranfest international festival in Prague with this production.

We recommend the performance for ages 15 and up.
