Shary-An Nivillac, born and raised in The Hague, grew up with music from an early age. In 2011 she broke through to the general public during her participation in The Voice of Holland, where she reached the semi-finals. Since then she has released the singles Read My Book, Never Played the Bass, Ik Voel Me Goed and Een Beetje Meer.
Meanwhile, Shary-An is the mother of two daughters and also felt the need to make new things and focus on Dutch music. Shary-An: “I find it difficult to be vulnerable, but with my new music I try to let go of that by putting everything I feel on paper.” Her EP Ode Aan de Liefde was released in 2022, with singles such as Ik Ben Hier and Dansen uit, both of which were very well received. In 2023, Shary-An already did a theater and club tour and She is not sitting still this autumn either. Shary-An wants to introduce her audience to her music and life. With a show that goes from small and sensitive songs to swinging music with a raw edge, Shary-An can be seen in Simplon this fall.
