About event
shemesh-these are Shale Abergel and Daniel Schwarzwald, who founded the duo in 2023. Nadav Assaf (drums) and Michael Edwards (bass) soon joined the band. With Shemesh, the ensemble expands the musical horizon: Soul, Neo-Soul, Jazz, Rock and even classical music merge into a unique sound image.
What awaits you on October 02 is the core of Shemesh: An intimate and at the same time rousing duo concert with Daniel and Shachar. Her extraordinary musical chemistry was captured on the debut EP Connecting, which appears gradually at Segal Music in 2025.
With special joy, you will present your second single: "Fred", a composition by Daniel Schwarzwald, inspired by one of the Nocturnes Frédéric Chopins. The melody unfolds in epic, almost cinematic depth through Shachhar's masterful game.
But who - or what - is Fred? A tender greeting to Chopins first name, Frédéric? The echo of a mysterious, broken figure? Or a winking in a winking to another Fred - a legendary front man and virtuosos one of the iconic British Bands?
Maybe the secret ventilated on October 2nd
